    Walmart is a rip off!

I was shopping in Walmart awhile back and since I was moving I thought I would ask if they had any empty boxes in the stockroom. I have done this before in many stores and never had a problem. They told me they didnít have any, but I was welcome to purchase some in the store from the shipping and stationary department. I donít think so! What a rip off.

Did they really actually tell you that you would have to buy boxes from them? That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. I would have just left in disgust, especially since I see them tearing down boxes while stocking all the time! I would not have paid for a box either, not when you can go to any other store on the face of the planet and get all you need for free!

It just goes to show you that all Walmart wants is money, money , money and that they will scam and rip off their customers any way they can to get it! This company is a money hungry monster that grows every time someone buys one of their cut rate products.

I wish somebody would organize a world wide boycott of Walmart corporation so they would finally understand how frustrated consumers are with them. Judging from the vast number of complaints on this site alone about Walmart, I am sure there are plenty of people out there who would like to join!

The problem is that for a lot of people they have no other shopping options. Walmart makes it a point to move in on rural areas where there is not a lot of big competition. They run the mom and pop stores out of business with their ďgreat pricesĒ and then they have people trapped with no options. So people complain about them but still continue to shop there.

For me, I just cannot shop at a place with such abhorrent business practices as Walmart. I cannot support the corporate greed that drives this monster. They not only treat their customers poorly, but also their employees and the neighborhoods in which they operate. They keep their employees in below poverty level wages which is funny since when they come into a neighborhood they say they are bringing hundreds of jobs and so on. Sure they are but very few of them are full time employees and very few of them receive benefits of any kind like insurance.

I sincerely wish that some other company would come out that would give Walmart a run for their money. Maybe then they would start treating their consumers the way they should be treated. I hope that the employees get nicer too, even though I do not expect either of those things to happen any time soon!
